The most perfectly hand-crafted warrior designed to deal melee and arcane damage to keep you enemies on their toes. Viserai is the Arknight, he is the only one to ever exist. He serves a master, or will the master be forced to serve him. He was once a decorated warrior and has been given new purpose, but not by his own choice. Arcane energy flows from the Arknight Shard barrier into his chest, as power courses through his veins.
Whenever you play a Runeblade card, if you have played another ‘non-attack’ action card this turn, create a Runechant token.
The first important decision is to determine what type of deck you are building with Viserai. More than almost all other heroes, he has the option to be a wide/mid-range or a go tall build.
His wide/mid-range deck is fueled by adding as many copies of Mauviron Skies and a few others
His go tall is built by creating as many Runechant tokens as possible and pair it with a large melee attack, if you build up enough it can turn into a one turn kill deck (OTK)
OTK typically require ~22-30 Runechant tokens to trigger, use the Reaping Blade so (L) is limited
You must be thinking and play 2-3 turns ahead with his attack plans
He is harder to defend than many other heroes because he can do both melee and arcane damage.
Grasp of the Arknight should only be used to create a token when you don’t have any
Bloodsheath Skeleta helps give advantage, especially in the wide/mid-range decks
You typically will not be able to attack every turn so you can build up your runechant tokens.
Mordred Tide is a good way to set up a big turn and should be played the start of the turn.
A good combo is Modred Tide, some actions, Dread Triptych to maximize Runechant creation
Rattle Bones is a good way to set up at the end of a turn to push extra damage when they think you are finished
Determine your deck patterns, this deck cannot be played in random order
Read the Runes is a good end of turn card
Defend minimally and focus on preparing for your attacks. Defend when you can with Runeblood Barrier and defense reactions to stay alive long enough to push the damage you need to
Use Become the Arknight to set up your big turns with Ninth blade of the Blood Oath or Arknight Ascendancy
Create Runechant into Runechant Damage
Card A + Card B +…. = many Runechants + Card C = Damage (and repeat potentially)
Reaping Blade, Once per Turn Action (1): Attack

Arknight Ascendancy, Arknight Ascendancy costs (1) less to play for each Runechant you control.
If Arknight Ascendancy hits, create X Runechant tokens, where X is the damage dealt by Arknight Ascendancy. Dominate
Become the Arknight, You may discard an action card. If you discard an attack action card this way, search your deck for a Runeblade ‘non-attack’ action card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. If you discard a ‘non-attack’ action card this way, search your deck for a Runeblade attack action, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck. Go again
